Two separate Reddit posts, not more than a day part, on r/android offer us a glimpse of what the Nexus 10 of 2013 might look like. A seemingly disgruntled Telefónica O2 employee posted an image of a thinner-bezeled Nexus 10 running the Google Experience Launcher. The device appears to have front facing speakers on the top edge the device, above the front facing camera. A second leak from a Korean user reveals the device is made by LG, with a LG-V510 product name. Both share the same homescreen wallpaper from Android 4.4 as well as the new Camera icon found in KitKat.
This is not the first time we've seen the LG-V510 product name float around. Previously, a device with the very same codename received Bluetooth certification. At the time, the device was widely assumed to be a Nexus 8. Whatever the V510 ends up becoming, it will most likely be a Nexus device
The price of the device is listed at £299 or roughly $482. Note as the leak comes from a carrier this is likely the cellular version of the device which explains the higher price. Lastly, the Reddit post suggests we might see the LTE Nexus 10 as soon as November 22 in black and white variants. The relatively near date suggests that the WiFi and Cellular version will be amiable at the same time. This would also be the first time that a Nexus tablet comes in more than one color.
Another eagle-eyed Reddit user, has spotted a Tesco (British retailer) listing which confirms the £299 of the Nexus 10 and lists some specs. The tablet will use a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and have 3 GB of RAM. It will also have 802.11ac WiFi and a 10 megapixel rear facing camera. The addition of a rather higher-res 4 megapixel front facing camera is interesting. Also interesting, is the 18 hour battery life listed. That November 22 release date is sound more and more plausible.
